Through stretching and stamping technology, thin-walled parts with cylindrical, stepped, spherical, conical, and other irregular shapes can be produced. Zhejiang Yiwei Precision is a manufacturer of precision metal stamping, metal stretching, and embedded injection molding. We can customize and produce various types of stretched shells, deep stretched parts, and stamped stretched parts. In this article, the editor will introduce the characteristics of shell stretch stamping parts.

Shell stretching stamping parts are cylindrical bottle shaped parts formed by deep drawing of sheet metal. In the deep drawing operation, the diameter of the billet is affected by the circumference of the shell, which is in turn affected by the fluidity of the stamping material and the inward flow resistance and edge resistance of the peripheral material;

When the resistance of the edge material exceeds the limit, the edge will wrinkle and become unstable. To avoid wrinkling, the material of the stamped part can flow smoothly between the punch and the blank holder. The two main causes of tensile fracture are the ratio of the diameter of the stretched stamping part to the diameter of the billet exceeding the limit value and the drawing radius. When drawing a flat billet into a shell or a shell with a smaller diameter, there is a limit value for the inward flow distance of the material, commonly referred to as the drawing coefficient. The ultimate drawing coefficient is influenced by factors such as the fluidity of the stamping material, its compressive strength, and the flow resistance caused by compression. Excessive flow resistance causes damage and wrinkling at the edges of the shell, which is an area where the material's resistance is weak.
