micro precision cold extrusion, a brilliant star emerging in the manufacturing industry
With the miniaturization development of consumer electronics products, the structural and functional components of products are becoming smaller and more precise, and the demand is also increasing. This poses a serious challenge to the precision manufacturing industry, as both precision and demand are not on the same level as ordinary cold extrusion. Micro precision cold extrusion technology has rapidly developed and produced in this environment, and has gradually matured from its inception to the present in the past two decades. At the beginning of the development of micro precision cold extrusion, the design ideas and concepts proposed by EMAR Hardware gradually improved. In 2010, EMAR hardware customers urgently approached us and requested our assistance in producing ceramic gas discharge tube electrodes, which are products produced using precision cold extrusion technology. Because EMAR Hardware's main production direction at that time was precision stamping micro hardware parts, which were similar to precision cold extrusion! The previous supplier of the customer was engaged in pier extrusion manufacturing. At that time, they were increasingly unable to keep up with the customer's steps and were unwilling to conduct research and development in this area. Moreover, neither precision nor output met the customer's requirements! At the beginning of receiving the case, EMAR Hardware thought it was relatively simple, but little did they know that although the process of metal cold extrusion and Metal Stamping is similar, the principle is very different. The only difference is that the pressure applied to the workpiece by cold extrusion is hundreds or thousands of times greater than that applied by stamping. Therefore, the mold design concept needs to consider both the characteristics of cold extrusion and the structure of precision stamping! This means that the development of micro precision cold extrusion technology is not an ordinary path!
EMAR Hardware has been developing micro precision cold extrusion technology since 2010, with an investment of 500 yuan in research and development expenses. We have recruited elite mold designers from the precision stamping and cold extrusion manufacturing industries, with a hybrid mindset that has solved one technical problem after another. During this period, we have received tolerance and encouragement from our clients. After seven years, we have basically reached a relatively mature technical process. The micro precision cold extrusion technology can now achieve a daily output of over 200000 particles in a single mode, with a precision of 0.02mm. It can perform micro precision cold extrusion processing on various functional materials such as iron nickel alloy, Kovar alloy, tungsten copper, oxygen free copper, and Pomo alloy!
The demand for precision cold extrusion parts in the international market is increasing at a rate of 30% per year. Micro precision cold extrusion technology has completely replaced the production processes of pile extrusion and CNC lathes, improving the drawbacks of these two processing techniques. Simply put, it has increased output, improved precision, and reduced unit price. Products produced using micro precision cold extrusion technology have been warmly welcomed by consumer electronics manufacturers! Due to the successful development of micro precision cold extrusion technology, EMAR Hardware's order volume is increasing at a rate of 80% per year. Currently, EMAR Hardware has a factory of 30-40 people, and many products are now serving Fortune 500 companies!
