No matter what products or things our technicians are processing through stamping, they need to pay attention to some issues. This will be helpful for our operation and processing. Stamping processing is the same. So, what issues should we pay attention to during the Metal Stamping process?
1. Scratches on stamped parts: The main reason for scratches on parts is sharp scratches on the mold or metal dust falling into the mold. Preventive measures include grinding the scratches on the mold and removing metal dust.
2. Bottom cracking of stamped parts: The main reason for bottom cracking of parts is poor plasticity of the material or excessive compression of the mold edge ring. Preventive measures include replacing materials with better plasticity or loosening the edge ring.
3. Wrinkles on the side wall of stamped parts: The main reason for wrinkles on the side wall of parts is insufficient material thickness (thinner than the minimum allowable thickness) or eccentricity during the installation of upper and lower molds, resulting in a large gap on one side and a small gap on the other side. Preventive measures include immediate replacement of materials and readjustment of molds.
