Numerical control lathe is a high-precision and high-efficiency automated machine tool equipped with multi station turret or power turret. The machine tool has a wide range of processing performance and has played a good economic role in the mass production of complex parts. During the operation, the operator must pay attention to the basic specifications and usage conditions of the CNC lathe.
Operation specifications for CNC lathes
Reducing the operation accidents of CNC equipment should not only be prevented from multiple aspects such as management, process, training, supervision and inspection. Based on years of experience in CNC and numerous case studies, the following regulations for preventing operation accidents of CNC machine tools have been summarized, which can play a positive guiding role in the prevention of operation accidents:
1) Numerical control equipment must be operated by designated personnel and machines, and the equipment must not be operated before obtaining qualifications.
2) When two or more personnel operate the equipment, they must negotiate and hand over the workpiece, and it is strictly prohibited to change the equipment status without the consent of the operators.
3) Operators should continuously strengthen their business learning and improve their sense of responsibility.
4) Before the first piece processing, the program must be carefully checked and subjected to a single-stage processing test before automatic processing can be carried out.
5) After modifying the program and data, strict inspection must be carried out and the first piece processing steps must be followed.
6) The selection of coordinate origin and tool change point in programming must be safe and foolproof.
7) Reasonably select cutting parameters, such as speed, cutting amount, feed rate, etc., to prevent overloading of equipment.
8) Strictly inspect the workpiece blank, and those with a blank shape that is too large (or too small) must be treated in advance.
9) The necessary method and position for clamping workpieces and props should be reasonable, and the clamping force should be adjusted appropriately.
10) The tool holder clamping must be firm and reliable.
11) Caution and attention must be paid during operation to prevent collisions when manually moving the machine tool.
12) If there is an abnormality or collision in the equipment, the maintenance personnel must be immediately notified to check the condition of the equipment, and no concealment or delay is allowed.
13) It is strictly prohibited to adjust or modify machine parameters without professional training and recognition.
14) Seriously and practically maintain the equipment on time every day according to the operating instructions, and truthfully fill out the equipment inspection form.
Usage conditions of CNC lathe
The normal use of CNC lathes must meet the following conditions: the power supply voltage fluctuation at the location of the machine tool is small, the ambient temperature is below 30 degrees Celsius, and the relative temperature is less than 80%.
1、 Requirements for machine tool position environment
The position of the CNC machine tool should be far away from the vibration source, avoiding direct light irradiation and the influence of thermal amplitude, and avoiding the influence of moisture and airflow. If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, anti vibration grooves should be set up around the machine tool. Otherwise, it will directly affect the machining accuracy and stability of the machine tool, causing poor contact of electronic components, resulting in malfunctions and affecting the reliability of the machine tool.
2、 Power requirements
Generally, CNC lathes are installed in machining workshops, where the environmental temperature changes greatly and the usage conditions are poor. In addition, there are many mechanical and electrical equipment, resulting in large fluctuations in the power grid. Therefore, the installation of CNC lathes requires strict control of the power supply voltage. The power supply voltage fluctuation must be within the allowable range and kept relatively stable, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the CNC system.
3、 Temperature conditions
The ambient temperature of the CNC lathe is below 30 degrees Celsius, and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally speaking, there are exhaust fans or air coolers inside the CNC control box to maintain a constant operating temperature or minimal temperature difference of electronic components, especially the central processing unit. Excessive temperature and humidity will reduce the lifespan of control system components and lead to an increase in malfunctions. The increase in temperature and humidity, as well as the increase in dust, can cause adhesion on the integrated circuit board and lead to short circuits.
4、 Use the machine tool according to the instructions
Users are not allowed to arbitrarily change the parameters set by the manufacturer in the control system when using CNC machine tools. The setting of these parameters is directly related to the dynamic characteristics of various components of the machine tool. Only the gap compensation parameter values can be adjusted according to the actual situation.
Users are not allowed to replace machine accessories at will, such as using hydraulic chucks that exceed the specifications in the manual. When setting up attachments, the manufacturing plant fully considers the matching of various process parameters. Blind replacement can cause mismatches in various parameters and even result in unforeseeable accidents.
