Using CNC Machining equipment for processing has high efficiency and good quality, but if the process design is not properly arranged, its advantages cannot be well reflected. Shenzhen EMAR is a powerful manufacturer with over ten years of experience in CNC precision machining. The company has more than 100 CNC machining equipment of various types. Based on the company's years of development, the following experiences have been summarized. If the CNC machining process is not arranged properly, the following problems may exist:
1. The CNC machining process is too scattered
The reason for this problem is due to the fear of complexity (referring to preparation time), simple programming, simplified operation and processing, easy adjustment of tool alignment when using one knife for processing, and habit of ordinary processing. This makes it difficult to ensure product quality (positional tolerance) and production efficiency cannot be fully utilized. Therefore, CNC machining technicians and operators should be fully familiar with CNC machining knowledge, make more attempts to master relevant knowledge, and try to use centralized process methods for machining as much as possible. Using it multiple times will naturally reflect its advantages. After adopting centralized processes, the unit processing time increased. We arranged two devices face-to-face, achieving one person operating two devices, greatly improving efficiency and ensuring good quality.
2. The CNC processing sequence is unreasonable
Some CNC machining operators often arrange the machining sequence extremely unreasonably due to preparation issues. Numerical control machining is usually carried out according to the requirements of general mechanical machining processes, such as coarse to fine (tool change), inner to outer, and reasonable selection of cutting parameters. Only in this way can quality and efficiency be improved.
Be cautious with the G00 (G26, G27, G29) quick positioning instruction. The G00 instruction brings great convenience to programming and use. However, if set and used improperly, it often leads to adverse consequences such as zero return overshoot, decreased accuracy, and equipment rail surface strain due to excessive speed settings. Neglecting the return to zero route can easily lead to safety accidents involving collisions with workpieces and equipment. Therefore, when considering the use of the G00 instruction, it should be considered thoroughly and not arbitrarily.
In CNC machining, special attention should be paid to strengthening program retrieval and trial operation. After inputting the program into the control system, the operator should use the SCH key and the movement keys to perform uncertain and deterministic searches, and make necessary modifications to the program to ensure its accuracy. At the same time, before officially executing the program processing, a program trial run (turning on the amplifier) must be conducted to confirm whether the processing route is consistent with the design route.
In practical work, there may be other problems encountered, but as long as CNC machining engineering technicians and operators brainstorm and carefully master the knowledge and skills related to CNC, CNC equipment can effectively maximize the benefits for enterprises.
