In production, a series of issues such as production efficiency and cost, product quality, die life, and equipment safety depend on the selection of stamping equipment. When selecting stamping equipment, precision stamping parts processing plants should mainly proceed from two aspects, one is to select the type of stamping equipment according to the stamping process and die type; the other is to select the specifications of stamping equipment. First, let me introduce to you how the factory selects the type of stamping equipment.

First, the type of stamping equipment is selected according to the nature of the stamping process to be completed, the size of the production batch, the geometric size and accuracy requirements of the stamping parts, etc.:

1. Small and medium-sized punching dies, drawing dies, and zigzag dies should be selected from single-column, open presses.

2. Large and medium-sized dies should be double-column or four-column presses; Lets talk about why precision stamping parts processing plants can produce efficiently(pic1)

3. High-speed presses or multi-station active presses should be used for mass production and large active dies. Hydraulic presses should be used for stamping large stamping parts with small batches but thicker materials.

4. Regarding leveling and shaping, a large-tonnage double-column or four-column press should be selected.

5. Large and medium-sized drawing dies should use double-acting or tun-moving presses; cold extrusion dies or fine-stamping dies should use special cold extrusion machines and special fine-stamping machines;

6. For punching porous electronic instrument plates, it is best to use a die rotary head press.

The selection of the press should be based on the existing equipment of the precision stamping parts processing plant. Try to design the die structure according to the actual situation and its equipment conditions.
