Sometimes the punch of the die will suddenly fall off during the stamping process in the precision stamping parts processing factory. Why does the punch of the die suddenly fall off? In fact, it is because the punch is not firmly fixed during the assembly of the die that the punch suddenly falls off during the processing. Then the question comes again, why is the punch not firmly fixed during assembly? Here we analyze from five aspects:

1. For the punch fixing structure that chooses interference cooperation pressing, due to the failure to achieve the required interference amount during production, it is remedied by the method of "twist extrusion and chiseling", resulting in the punch being easy to loosen and falling.

2. If the punch does not use stepped or fastener fixing methods, when punching thicker, harder or more viscous materials and the gap between the discharge plate hole and the punch is too small, the discharge force will increase, forming punch pulling out.

3. The rigidity of the punch or die base is poor, resulting in elastic deformation during the blanking process, causing the punch to collide with the discharge plate or get stuck with the concave die, which increases the discharge force and makes it easy to pull out the punch.

4. The gap between the convex and concave molds is too small, and the working surface is rough or the gap is biased to one side, which can increase the discharge force during punching and form a punch pull-out.

5. When selecting a low melting point alloy fixed punch, there are no grooves on the punch mounting side and the mounting hole wall of the punch fixing plate, which makes it easy to pull out the punch.

The above are the most common reasons why the punch falls during processing in a precision stamping parts processing plant. When this happens in the factory, we can first look for the reasons from these aspects.
