In the bending process of the stamping parts factory, when the steel plate enters the lower die, because the die has friction on the steel plate left and right, which will cause the speed of the steel plate entering the die at different positions to be different. After stamping is completed, the bending position of the product will deviate when it is taken out. This will lead to large errors in the size of the entire product, and may even lead to obsolescence.

What causes the stamping and bending parts to deviate?

1. When an asymmetrical stamping part is bent, the area between the two ends of the steel plate and the mold is not the same, which results in an unequal friction between the two ends of the steel plate. After stamping, the steel plate will deviate towards the wider side.

2. The number of bends at both ends of the stamping and bending parts is different. The side with the largest number of bends has a large friction resistance, and the steel plate deviates in the direction with the largest number of bends.

3. In the bending of V-shaped stamping parts, if the die is not centrally symmetrical, the edge of the die with a small viewpoint is closer to the top of the punch, and the positive pressure acting on the edge of the die is greater, so the friction force is also greater, forming the steel plate to deviate from the side with a small viewpoint of the die.

4. The fillet radii of the two ends of the die are not equal, the friction force with a small fillet radius is large, and the friction force with a large fillet radius is small, causing the steel plate to deviate in the direction of a small fillet radius.

So how can stamping parts manufacturers prevent stamping and bending parts from running off course?

1. The bending die may choose a symmetrical concave die as much as possible. The fillet radii of the two ends of the concave die edge sliding are equal, and the gap between the punch and the concave die is uniform. Avoid unequal viewpoints of the left and right concave dies when V-shaped bending.

2. Select a bending die with back pressure elastic top equipment. When bending, the elastic top equipment and punch first press the steel plate tightly, and then gradually lower the bending to form. When bending, the steel plate is compressed to reduce or eliminate slip.

3. Select a bending die equipped with a positioning pin, which uses the hole at the bottom of the bending part to fit in the positioning pin on the back-pressed top plate, so that the steel plate cannot move during bending, thus preventing slippage.
