How to design a standard electrical control cabinet?(图1)First, the design requirements of the electric control cabinet

According to the design of the system strong electric cabinet in the system hardware connection manual, the design electric cabinet must meet the following requirements:

1. The electric cabinet should be fully sealed.

2. Make sure that the temperature of the electrical cabinet does not exceed the allowable temperature of the system unit.

3. A fan for circulation must be installed in a closed cabinet. (Can be omitted for units with fans)

4. In order to ensure smooth air circulation, a space of more than 100mm needs to be maintained between the system unit and the cabinet wall.

5. The display unit cannot be installed in a place where the coolant can be reached. In addition, the Control Unit needs to be dust-proof in front.

6. Minimize possible distractions.

7. Consider the convenience of maintenance.

8. Hard disks and floppy drives must be kept away from strong magnetic fields.

9. I/O units and I/O modules must meet the installation conditions.

According to the requirements of use, when designing the electric cabinet, the thermal design of the temperature of the electric cabinet must also be carried out to ensure the normal operation of the system in the electric box. The formula for the temperature design of the electric box is as follows:

Internal heat loss P [W] 6 [W/M & sup2; & ordm; C] X Surface area S [M & sup2;] X Rising temperature 13 [& ordm; C]

When the cabinet is large enough and the heat dissipation of the system unit in the cabinet is less than the surface area of the cabinet, the heat dissipation can be achieved through the surface of the cabinet without special treatment, and the allowable temperature will not be exceeded.

When the surface area of the electrical cabinet cannot meet the requirements, heat dissipation must be carried out through the heat exchanger.

The heat generated by each component is clearly disclosed in the hardware connection manual (B-64303EN/01), which is a reference for the design of the power supply cabinet.

Second, the design of the electric control cabinet

1. The electric cabinet must be made of metal material. It must be sealed. Because sealing can isolate electromagnetic radiation, it can be dustproof and oil-proof. ZUI is better to use the air conditioning system.

2. The seams should be welded without gaps.

3. The smaller the incision or opening, the better. The cover and door should be close to the cabinet, with conductive seals.

4. When connecting with the outside world, scrape the surface paint clean.

The production requirements for the sheet metal shell processing of electric control cabinets are first and foremost to provide a reliable protective box for the electrical equipment in the cabinet, and at the same time to have good grounding. In actual production, the grounding screws in the cabinet are only galvanized screws and because they are fixed in the cabinet by welding, the welded screws will soon rust. Moreover, the cabinet has to be treated with anti-corrosion and aesthetic treatment such as paint baking paint, so that the grounding screws become "quasi-insulating screws", and their grounding effect will be greatly reduced. Therefore, copper studs are generally used in the production of electric cabinets. The doors of the cabinet will be welded with grounding piles to replace the grounding screws in the past to solve the problem of previous "quasi-insulating" screws.
