Hardware parts cnc processing factories often use cold extrusion processing technology, so what is cold extrusion?

Cold extrusion is a new technology and new process in the manufacturing and processing of machinery and equipment. This is the installation of cold extrusion abrasives on a stamping machine, the use of simple repeated movements of the stamping machine, the application of metal in the mold core to cause plastic deformation, and then obtain the necessary specifications, appearance and certain characteristics of mechanical parts., Cold extrusion is carried out under indoor temperature standards, without heating the blank. Cold extrusion processing can be carried out in cold extrusion presses, but also in general mechanical equipment stamping machines (high-speed punches), four-column hydraulic presses, friction presses or high-speed hammers.

There are four ways of cold extrusion processing

Positive extrusion:

The flow direction of the metal during extrusion is the same as the fitness movement direction of the die base. It can produce a variety of solid core steel parts (using solid core blanks), and can also produce a variety of water pipes and shell parts (using hollow blanks or cup blanks).

2. Anti-extrusion:

In reverse extrusion, the flow direction of the metal and the direction of the fitness movement of the die base are reversed, and the hollow cup-shaped part can be made.

3. Composite extrusion

In composite extrusion, the flow direction of a part of the metal on the blank is the same as the fitness movement direction of the die base, while the flow direction of the other part of the metal is reversed. This kind of extrusion method can produce a variety of hollow steel parts with complex projections.

4. Axial extrusion

When axial extrusion, the flow direction of the metal is vertical with the direction of the fitness movement of the die base, and solid core blank or tubular blank is selected to be extruded to make disc parts with protrusions in the inner cavity.

EMAR machinery is engaged in cnc processing, numerical control car processing, mask machine parts production.
