December 14, 2013 is a very special day for our country. The Chang‘e-3 "Lunar Landing Probe" launched by our National Space Administration successfully landed on the surface of the moon. Then the parts need very professional precision machining technology to complete. You know, there can be no mistakes in the middle, and the parts must be very high-precision.

In fact, there were a lot of problems in the manufacture of Chang‘e-3. At that time, the Chang‘e-3 mission was carried out by the 25 workshop machines of the 7103 Factory of the Sixth Academy of Aerospace Sciences and a team of this excellent team. With a lot of tenacity, they completed the almost impossible task. The first headache in front of the 25 workshop was how to process the precision parts of the needle valve injector. The needle valve injector was a component of the new generation of carrier engines that was extremely difficult to process, and the flow regulator was the key valve used by the engine to upgrade and stabilize the flow of the system. Before this, there was no information that could be used for reference, no one had done it, and no equipment that could process such high-precision equipment. Under the "three noes" situation, the team leader issued a military order and established a research team. After more than a month of hard work, they finally completed this part in their hands. Of course, being able to process such a precision part was also a major breakthrough in the field of precision machining for the factory. Then there is the "temperature and humidity tube" on Chang‘e-3. The dimensional tolerance of this precision part is basically micron level, and a tiny error will make the entire precision part scrapped, which is extremely demanding on the production and processing environment and the operator. But even so, Comrade Xiao Su, who is in charge of the process, worked hard and finally overcame this problem.

There are still many problems like this, and the difficulty of machining precision parts is also increasing one by one, but every employee of the 7103 factory has worked hard to solve these problems one by one. So that we can see Chang‘e-3 and our five-star red flag in China on the moon.
